President
Michael Hernandez Deakin is the Managing Director Lifeline Ambulance Rescue, Inc. & Lifeline EMS Academy, Inc. He is a Filipino – Australian, born and raised in the Philippines. Migrated to Australia at 16 years old and completed his education in Canberra (ACT). Spent the first 10 years of his career in hospitality management. Working his way up the ranks in some of the top resorts and hotels in Australia. He came back to the Philippines and continued to manage resorts and country clubs in Pampanga and Metro Manila. In 2000, he was recruited to join Lifeline and applied a simple rule of Service first! Money later! He build Lifeline to the biggest private ambulance provider covering 3.2 million Filipinos under the Emergency Quick Response membership program. He has participated in several technical working committees of the Department of Health (DOH) and Department of Tourism (DOT) and was one of the original incorporators of the Philippine Retirement Incorporated (PRI). In 2013 Michael was awarded the “MVP Bossing Ako” Award for Philippines Entrepreneurial Excellence.
Marc Daubenbuechel
Managing Director
Marc graduated BA in International Business Management from the Cologne Business School. He worked for 4 years with the Sozial Betriebe Köln, an operator of nursing homes and home care services in Germany, and has in depth experience in running restaurants, hotels, spas, and wellness institutions. From 2009 to 2016 he acted as the Executive Director of the Retirement & Healthcare Coalition, a project of the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines. Since 2015 is an independent healthcare consultant for various companies interested to get involved in the Philippine geriatric market and for Philippine institutions that would like to learn more about geriatric care and education in Germany.
Cornelia Daubenbuechel
Director of Nursing
Cornelia Daubenbuechel is the Director of Nursing at Raintree Care Services & Senior Residences. She graduated BS in Nursing in Unna, Germany in 1979. Cornelia became a professor of nursing in 1985 with the German Red Cross. She has extensive working experience through her work in various hospitals and nursing homes for more than 12 years. Cornelia also practices since 1997 as a homeopathic practitioner as she believes that patients should be treated with a holistic approach. After this, she started a career as a geriatric professor with more than 20 years of experience in the German Red Cross and the Deutschordens Geriatric Academy in Cologne, Germany. She was the Dean of the Johanniter Geriatric Academy in Troisdorf, Germany. She is also a German Certified Quality Management Representative for process-oriented quality management in healthcare organizations.
Amphie
Facility Manager
Amphie, our facility manager, has 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She participated in various seminars conducted by the Department of Tourism, Hotelier Club, Summit, etc. Her priorities in work are to maintain a clean and safe living facility, provide comfort, and security, and anticipate the needs and wants of everyone in the facility, most especially our senior residents.
Gail Marie Gutierrez, RN, Ph.D.
Clinical Care Manager
Ms. Gail has 9 years of experience in the medical field specializing in Adult Intensive Care and Hemodialysis. She also has 8 years of experience in Clinical Management and Leadership and worked as a Nurse Manager in a hospital facility with a Joint Commission International Accreditation. Over the past 3 years, she has been participating in Nursing Research and International Publications.
Aside from her extensive and notable background, Ms. Gail is also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a professor for Nursing Masteral and Doctorate Degrees.
As our Clinical Care Manager (CCM), she provides clinical leadership, advice, coordination, planning, review, and assessment of all aspects of clinical delivery at the facility to ensure that the safety and well-being of our senior residents and clinical staff are consistently maintained.
Justine
Clinical Admin Staff
Justine is a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science graduate from North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) – former Surigao Del Sur State University (SDSSU).
He worked as an Admin Assistant in the Parole and Probation Administration Office of the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte. He experienced working in the Local government unit of Bacoor City, Cavite, under the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) department. He was also an Accounting Clerk and Operational Clerk at Hunter Security Agency Inc. (HSAI).
Zerrah
HR Officer
Zerrah has over 6 years of experience in HR. She is a former OFW and worked as a government employee in Dubai. In 2015, she went back to the Philippines and became an HR Practitioner. She also took up labor relations and human relations short courses at the University of the Philippines. She is a licensed HR and previously worked for major production and manufacturing companies in the Philippines. She provides coaching and training for employees and facilitates activities that foster teamwork and fun.
Zerrah is actually a graduate of Nursing, and she is happy that even if she did not get to practice in the medical field, she gets to work in the healthcare industry through RainTree Care.
Christine G. Gutierrez, RN, MAN
Head Nurse
Christine is a seasoned nursing professional with over 15 years of experience in private and government healthcare settings. She spent 11 years as a Nurse Supervisor at UHBI – Parañaque Doctors’ Hospital, Inc., followed by 4 years as a Head Nurse at Ospital ng Parañque District II.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Dr. Gloria D. Lacson Foundation Colleges, Inc. She is also certified in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association and has completed training in ISO Internal Quality Audit, ISO Risk and Opportunity Assessment, and ISO Change Management Plan.
Her dedication to nursing excellence and patient care is evident throughout her career.
Janice Legaspi Zamuco, M.D.
Geriatrician
Dr. Janice Legaspi Zamuco is our dedicated Geriatrician, a practicing Physician since 2003. She specializes in the care of senior patients and looks after the medical wellbeing of our residents. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in B.S. Psychology from the University of the Philippines Diliman and received her Medical Degree from the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital. She then did her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Missouri, Columbia USA and did a Geriatric Fellowship at the same institution. Currently she is affiliated with the Makati Medical Center, Asian Hospital and Medical Center, University of Perpetual Help Las Pinas, Healthway Medical Alabang Town Center and Lifeline Clinic in Ayala Alabang and Alabang Hills.
Cynthia
Quality Management Representative
Cynthia is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Management Major in Financial Management from Cavite State University. She worked for a Manufacturing company for 3 years as a document controller and assistant of the Quality Management Representative. Aside from being a Civil Service Commission Professional, Cynthia also has certifications from the training sessions she attended such as Internal Quality Audit Training based on ISO 19011:2018, Internal Audit Training based on ISO 9001:2015, Root Cause Analysis, Train the Trainers, and SAP Business One Training (Purchasing Module).
Cynthia is committed to using her knowledge and experience to ensure high standards of quality in RainTree Care.
Hazel
Senior Accountant
Hazel graduated from Eastern Samar State University in March 2012. She passed the civil service exam in her 4th year and in October 2012, she passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) board exam. She worked as an internal auditor staff in Philippine International Trading Corp. (PITC), a GOCC company for 2 years and was able to attend the ISO Seminars and become part of their core committee for internal organizational standards (ISO). She also worked as an internal auditor staff in D & L Industries Inc. and after 2 years, she was promoted to become IA specialist. After gaining experience in becoming an auditor, she decided to work as an accountant.
Michelle
Admin Business Officer
Michelle is our Administrative Officer an environmental science enthusiast from TUP- Manila shifted her career to allied health science since 2006. She holds two (2) National Certificates in Caregiving and Medical Transcription. She worked in the caregiving industry for almost 8 years hospital and residential care facility based because of her dedication and passion to her craft she spent another 4 years as Administration Associate & Supervisor of a long term care facility. She also underwent training on Home health care quality management under Philippine Health Care Initiative with partnership with Retirement Healthcare Coalition, HealthCare Advantage Training Institute and Pfllegen & Wohnen Hamburg, Germay and certified as Quality Management Representative Officer way back 2014.
Liezel
HR & ADM Assistant
Liezel graduated from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa in 2012 with a Bachelor of Teacher Education. After completing her degree, she practiced teaching in a private school. However, without having taken the LET Examination, she transitioned to an office environment and has enjoyed working in various firms for the past nine years.
Liezel has diverse experience, including almost three years with the Food and Drug Administration, where she was assigned to the Laboratory’s Antibiotic Section. She has also served as an Administrative Officer in several corporate companies. Through her roles in different organizations, she has gained valuable insights and experience. Despite not pursuing a career as a teacher, Liezel feels blessed and grateful for the opportunities and growth she has experienced as an employee in various fields.
Jovel
Accounting Staff
Jovel graduated with a degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing Management, from Pinamalayan Maritime Foundation & Technological Institutes Inc. During college, she was a Rotary Club scholar and even participated in a couple of pageants, earning 2nd Runner Up in one of them. She also attended various seminars and conferences to expand her knowledge.
After graduating, Jovel’s career journey began. She worked as a Sales Specialist at Imperial Appliance Plaza for a year. Then, she moved to a customs brokerage as a Billing Reliever. After just two months, she transitioned to the payroll department as one of the Payroll Specialists. Next, she joined a trucking services company as a Billing and Collection Assistant for a year, before being promoted to Billing and Collection Officer for three years. Her collaboration with the operations department led to a promotion to Operation Head, a position she held for a year and five months.
Most recently, Jovel was an Admin Officer at Yangtze Optical and Fiber Cable International Philippines Inc., a subcontractor for DITO Telecom, for a year. Her varied experiences have given her a well-rounded skill set and a solid understanding of different business areas.
Naomi
Client Service Supervisor
Naomi completed her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa in 2018 and received the Academic Excellence Award. She also obtained a Principles of Graphic Design certificate from the University of the Philippines Open University Distance Learning. During her college years, she actively participated in theater, radio, and the Communication student organization. In her fourth year of studies, she worked as a Customer Service Representative while completing her degree.
Naomi gained experience through an internship in PR and marketing at the Philippine Educational Theater Association and then transitioned to work as an Account Executive at a Google Advertising Agency for two years. Following that, she worked for nearly four years as a Business and Office Manager at an accounting firm, overseeing operations for up to 100 clients.
Currently, Naomi is involved in volunteering for events production at Victory Christian Fellowship.
