Seniors’ care industry to hit P9.6B by ’22

The Philippines’ geriatric care industry has the potential to contribute P9.6 billion annually to the economy if it could build 10,000 private rooms in nursing homes by 2022. Marc A. Daubenbuechel, managing director of RainTree Care Services & Senior Residences, said the potential of the Philippines for geriatric care would not only come from foreign retirees but from locals as well.
